Logo and banner
How to upload your logo, choose your brand colors, and set a cover (banner) for your store.
Quick answer
Go to Design. In step 2, Brand and colors, upload your logo in a square format, choose the shape (Straight, Soft, Medium or Round) and adjust the colors. In step 3, Cover, upload your banner (minimum 1600 × 400 px) and drag it to choose the crop. Click Save theme. The logo is required to publish your store.

The logo and cover are the first thing a customer sees. In this guide we use UrbaStyle's logo and banner.
Important
The logo is required to publish your store. The cover is optional, but it depends on the style you choose: Centered and Modern show it at the very top.
Before you start: prepare your images#

| Logo | Square (for example 1000 × 1000 px), PNG or JPG, with the logo centered and margin around it. |
| Cover | Horizontal, minimum 1600 × 400 px. A larger photo gives you more room to choose the crop. |
1. Choose a style with a cover#
Go to Design. In step 1. Style, choose your store's base:
- Classic: logo next to the name, no banner.
- Centered: banner with the logo overlaid.
- Modern: banner on top with the brand centered below (the one UrbaStyle uses).
- Boutique: header with cart and favorites, a welcome phrase, and the collection as pills.
2. Upload your logo#
Click Next or tap Brand and colors in the step list. Under 01 Your logo, select the file. The preview on the right updates live.
Under Logo shape, choose how the corners are cropped: Straight, Soft, Medium or Round.
3. Adjust your brand colors#
Under 02 Colors, you set:

| Text | The color of the text. |
| Accent | Highlights; on UrbaStyle, for example, the Add to cart button. |
| Background | The store's background. |
| Product description color | The description text color (defaults to the text color at 75%). |
Tip
Pull the colors from your logo. On UrbaStyle the accent is the logo's copper (#a86b45) and the text is near-black. You can type the hex code directly.
Under 03 Typography, you choose the Title font and the Body font.
4. Upload the cover (banner)#
In step 3. Cover, under 01 Cover image, select your banner. If the photo is larger than the frame, drag it to choose what shows: in the example we moved it up so the whole person is visible.
Under 02 Color and alignment, choose the Cover color (shows when there's no photo) and the name's Text alignment: left, center or right. Remove photo deletes the cover.
5. Save the theme#
Unsaved changes appears at the bottom. Click Save theme (or Discard to go back). You'll see the Theme saved notice.
Result#
Continue with the rest of the design in Customize your store. The browser tab icon (favicon) is changed in Custom domain.
