What's in Settings: name and address, WhatsApp, QR code, tools to grow, inventory, categories, pages and the danger zone.

Quick answer

Settings gathers everything that isn't a product or design. Your store: name, web address, description, language, WhatsApp and QR. Grow: SEO, Meta and TikTok pixels, social links, custom domain and team. Catalog: inventory, categories and pages. Danger zone: duplicate, create a mirror, or delete the catalog. Save with Save changes.

Catalog#

Inventory#

This is where you turn on stock control for this catalog. It starts off; you can turn it on in simple or advanced mode. With inventory on, Shelfkat tracks quantities, sets aside units for confirmed orders, marks as sold out anything that reaches zero, and keeps a history of movements. Once it's on, Inventory becomes its own destination in the menu.

The catalog's inventory
  • Simple: you edit the quantity on each product page or from Inventory. You can turn it off anytime.
  • Advanced: quantities only change from Inventory, always with a reason.

Warning

Advanced mode can't be turned off afterward. Start with simple if you're not sure.

All the details are in the Inventory section: turning it on, switching to advanced and managing stock.

Categories and sizes#

Opens the category list. See Categories and Attributes and variants.

Pages#

Create pages like About us, Contact or Policies. They show up in your store's menu.

Store pages

Danger zone#

  • Duplicate catalog: a full copy to start another similar store.
  • Create mirror: a catalog with the same listings but with its own price and WhatsApp; its orders don't reach the original catalog.
  • Delete catalog: deletes the store. This can't be undone, and it's blocked if there's inventory history.

Save#

Changes under Your store are saved with the bottom bar's Save changes (or Discard). You'll see the Saved notice.
