A discount code encourages people to buy today. You decide how much you discount and for whom.

Create a coupon#

Open Sales tools → Discount codes and click New coupon.
Type the Code: letters, numbers, dashes and underscores only.
Choose the Type: Percentage or Fixed amount, and type the Value.
Set any conditions you need (below) and save.

Conditions you can set#

Option	What it does
Max discount	Caps the discount of a percentage coupon.
Min purchase	Requires a minimum purchase.
Apply to promotional prices too	Lets the coupon apply to products that already have a sale price.
First purchase only	Only someone who has not bought yet can use it. It asks for the customer's WhatsApp.
Expires on	Expiry date. It is counted in Colombia time.
Max uses	How many times the coupon can be used in total.
Max per customer	How many times one person can use it.

What your customer sees#

In the cart they tap Have a coupon? and type the code.
They click Apply. They see CODE applied — you save $X and the breakdown with subtotal, discount and total.
They can Remove coupon at any time.

If the code does not work, the message says why: it expired, it ran out, it does not apply to the order, or they need to reach the minimum amount.

After the order#

The discount is saved on the order and shown in the WhatsApp message. In the list you can see how many times each coupon was used, under Uses. A coupon that has been used cannot be deleted, but you can deactivate it.

Note

Coupons cannot be combined: each order uses one. They also do not apply to drafts you create over WhatsApp.
