Publish your catalog

The 5 steps Shelfkat asks for before you publish, how to publish or pause your store, and how to share the link and QR code.

Quick answer

Complete The 5 steps on Home: add a product, upload a photo, set up your WhatsApp, publish and share the link. To publish, click Publish in the top right (your store needs a logo). The store goes live at your-store.shelfkat.store and the button switches to Pause store in case you want to hide it.

A new store starts out as a Draft: only you can see it. Once you publish it, anyone with the link can visit, view your products and message you on WhatsApp.

The 5 steps#

On Home, open The 5 steps to see what's left. The Next step card always shows you what's next.

  1. Add your first product: see Create your first product.
  2. Upload a photo: at least one product with a photo.
  3. WhatsApp set up: the number where your orders arrive (see below).
  4. Store published: click Publish.
  5. Link shared: copy or share your store's link.

Important

To publish, your store needs a logo. If it's missing, Shelfkat asks for it before publishing. Upload it in Design → Brand and colors (Logo and banner).

Set up your WhatsApp#

  1. On Home, click Confirm WhatsApp (or go to Settings → WhatsApp).
  2. Choose your country: the code (for example +57) is added automatically.
  3. Enter your number without the country code, for example 3001112233.
  4. Click Save changes.

Publish your store#

Click Publish (top right, from any section). The label switches from Draft to Published and Home shows Your store is ready.

  • View store opens your catalog exactly as your customers see it.
  • Pause store hides it temporarily without deleting anything. Publish it again whenever you want.
  • It's normal to keep editing after publishing: changes you save show up in the store without republishing.

In Settings → QR code and link you'll find your store's link, Copy link and Download QR to print on your storefront, packaging or cards.

Tip

Share the link in your Instagram and TikTok bio, in your WhatsApp status and in your quick replies. Every visit shows up in Analytics.
